10/2011 Update: If you're wondering why you don't recognize this image it's because it has been updated to reflect the finished doublet.

The costume is approx. 90% hand sewn and the doublet alone is clocked in at around 115 hours. Cost of materials for the doublet is roughly $80 with our superior discount-shopping skills.
